No. ToolNest counts words and analyzes text statistics entirely inside your web browser. Your text never leaves your device.

How is reading time calculated?

Reading time is calculated based on an average adult reading speed of 200 words per minute. Speaking time is based on 130 words per minute.

Does it support non-English languages and Urdu?

Yes. Unicode text, non-Latin scripts (including Urdu, Arabic, Chinese), and emojis are analyzed correctly.

Can I upload a document to count words?

Yes. You can upload any plain text (.txt, .md, .csv) file up to 10 MB.
